Multiple wins for Bird & Bird IP team at the 18th Annual Managing IP (MIP) Awards

Bird & Bird’s International IP Team were honoured to have been announced winners across nine categories last night at the European MIP Awards ceremony in London.

The team took home the following awards:

  • 'Europe Patent Litigation Team of the Year’
  • ‘Impact Case of the Year: Nokia v OnePlus Technology’
  • ‘Impact Case of the Year: MTV v Teosto’
  • ‘Impact Case of the Year: Michael Learns to Rock v EMI Music’
  • ‘Patent Disputes Firm of the Year: France’
  • ‘Trade Mark Prosecution Firm of the Year: France’
  •  ‘Lifetime Achievement: Trevor Cook’
  • ‘German Practitioner of the Year: Oliver Jan Jüngst’
  • ‘UK Patent Practitioner of the Year: Richard Vary’

The awards recognise the team's longstanding position at the forefront of IP, as well as the exceptional quality of their work, passion for innovation and cutting-edge approach.

Boris Kreye co-Head of the firm's international IP Group, who also attended, said  “With three wins for ‘Impact Case of the Year’, these awards highlight the unique and challenging cases that our clients entrust us with every day.  It’s also wonderful to see recognition for the brilliant individual winners who have been key in the development of our international team”
