I am an associate in our Corporate Group in Sydney, supporting clients on a range of domestic and international M&A transactions.
My work spans the full deal lifecycle, including due diligence, transaction document preparation, regulatory compliance, and post-completion matters. I also advise on corporate governance and general commercial issues.
I began my journey at Bird & Bird through the 2022 clerkship program, gaining exposure across several practice areas, including Corporate, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Competition and Regulatory. This broad foundation has strengthened my ability to navigate complex legal and commercial challenges with a strategic, cross-disciplinary approach.
My academic background combines a Law degree with a degree in Security Studies, equipping me with a strong understanding of global affairs and public policy. After finishing school, I spent a year abroad immersing myself in a different culture and learning a new language. During my time at university, I worked at various law firms and served as the Australian correspondent, specialising in politics and economics, for a leading Japanese newspaper.
My passion for law stems from my love of writing and research. I have worked on challenging corporate matters, provided strategic advice to clients, and drafted several thought-provoking articles on topical issues.
