I'm a partner in our Dutch offices specialising in European and international regulatory projects in the communication and technology sectors. Today, I'm Chair of our Global Tech & Comms Group and head of our international Sector Regulation and Consulting practice.

I offer many years of in-depth legal and regulatory experience in leading cutting-edge European and multi-jurisdictional projects in the rapidly evolving national and international legislation in the communications and technology sectors. My experience is acknowledged by constant top tier listings in leading professional legal directories such as Chambers, Legal500 and Who's Who legal as well as the EMEA Technology Lawyer of the Year 2023 award by @Women in Business Law.

With the support of the international Bird & Bird team, I am leading European and global projects for clients including the European Blockchain Sandbox for the European Commission and multi-jurisdictional projects for innovative international players in distributed ledger technologies, electronic communications and cyber security. These projects are based on long-standing client relationships and in-depth knowledge of technological developments and innovation.

I am a frequent conference speaker on international conferences and have written a range of published works on European and national legislation and regulation such as the European Electronic Communications Code, the Digital Services Act, the Digital Markets Act, the Data Act and the AI Act. I'm a member of the editorial board at Mediaforum, the Dutch legal magazine covering telecoms, media and communications.
