Patricia Beregszászi

I am patent attorney in the IP team of the Budapest office.

I specialise in biomedical engineering and biotechnology, and I mainly deal with multidisciplinary inventions at the interface of the medical and technical industries. I have several years of experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution in the field of biotechnology and bioinformatics. In addition to patent law, I have experience in technology transfers, trade secret protection, trademark law and copyright law.

I have advised clients on protecting their intellectual property rights in various sectors, including life science and computer science. I have also developed IP strategies in academic and corporate fields, managed IP portfolios, as well as provided patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions. Additionally, I have lectured on intellectual property rights at university level.

I am seeking admission as a European Patent Attorney.

I speak English and German in addition to my native language, Hungarian.
